Systematic protection of wood – long life coatings

Protektan Basic wood coating is a modern chemical product for precausious protection of wood before the attack of biological pests like fungus, mould and insects. Protektan is used for precausious protection of sawed wood and joiner's products from the wood of conifers and deciduous trees.

Characteristics and advantages of Protektan are:
- it is water-based;
- the active component chemically bonds and absorbs itself in the wood and does not wash out;
- it is without smell when it dries, protects the wood lastingly;
- you can re-coat the dry Protektan-covered wood with any other surface coating;

Biotan coatings are availible in 15 different shades, which can me mixed amongst themselves.
Pastele colour shades are gained by mixing basic tones with white Biotan.

Biotan Protective coating for wood is a thin-layered lasur, based on the acrylic dispersion in water. It is intended for decoration and protection of wood in the living areas and outside, for less exposed wooden elements (projecting roof, internal wall setting, fenses...).

Biotan Acrylic varnish lasur with UV protection is a thick-layered lasur and a great protection from the sun and weather conditions. It is suited for final, lasting protection. UV filters and UV absorbers: protect the coating from UV rays if it is outside, and prevent the wood from darkening if it is inside. Contains waxs that prevent water from penetrating into the wood.
