FARMATAN is a natural extract from selected chestnut wood (Castanea Sativa Mill), from Fagaceae familiy, that is spread mostly on the south of Europe. It is aquired with an environment-friendly procedure – water extraction, that retains the basic qualities of the product. That is why the product is safe for animals, people in the environment.

The primary component parts of FARMATAN are water-soluble vegetable poliphenols that have a broad specter of activity, with a long year tradition of use in human and animal diet. They work as natural antibiotics without fear of waiting period and with incredible selectivity, that only nature can offer – antimicrobe effect on harmfull microorganism and pleasent effect on maintaining the balance of microflora. They also work as natural antioxidants. All this diversity of bioactive poliphenol assures better use and absorpsion of nutrients and stimulates imune sistem. Other components of FARMATAN are simple sugars, lignin, cellulose and mineral substances.
